South Essex College has a long track-record of delivering innovation in teaching and learning using technology. This has been a team effort by many staff across a range of support and academic teams. We also owe thanks to the many suggestions made by students to help improve and develop the services we offer.

ICTHorizons.com is maintained and developed by the Interactive Learning Strategies (ILS) Team. Founded in 1998 ILS have over a decade of experience developing C Space, the College Intranet. In this time C Space has grown from a handful of html pages to the complex web of integrated systems we have today. Making use of the best of new technologies C Space now consists of over 2 million pages and is visited and used by over 4000 staff and learners each month.

On ICTHorizons you will find information about our groundbreaking intranet "C_Space", current developments and future plans, contributions and ideas from students, information about the use of ICT in our proposed capital projects in Southend and Thurrock and links and resources from across the web that are influencing the way we think about technology.

ICTHorizons is a project which brings together the past, present and future of ICT at South Essex College.
